  • We were initially dealing directly with one of the major Body Corporates, however we found that the terms of the offer had changed substantially from the first meeting.

    As we had a good previous experience with PFM with the sale of another practice we requested Martyn to undertake a valuation to ascertain the practice’s true value. This was done in a professional and speedily manner. Martyn explained the items the corporates would be looking at and how these could affect the experience as there were certain sales terms which, with his help, we amended which allowed for a higher price to be achieved.

    We then asked PFM to deal with the sale and Martyn undertook all of the negotiations and kept us informed of the progress throughout the sale all the way through to completion. This was a godsend as we felt we were in very capable hands and this allowed the sale to reach a speedy conclusion (which was dragging before PFM’s help).

  • A practice sale is something that most dentists will do only once, we are used to making decisions on a daily basis and being in control, being at the mercy of forces beyond direct control is an uncomfortable position, as when selling a practice. Consequently, the need to have ones hand held by someone who has done it all before is essential, as is the necessity to be kept informed of developments.
