Expert advice and support with your purchase
If you have found a dental practice for sale and you would like to progress things we suggest that PFM Dental provides you with a second opinion – this is our buyer’s assessment.
When purchasing a practice, it is likely that the agent acting will require a deposit (typically around 1% of the price). You will soon begin to incur other costs such as: legal fees, a valuation fee with the bank and accountancy fees for reviewing the financial information. Our buyer’s assessment will establish is the practice is right for you before you start to incur professional fees.
The ‘buyers assessment’ is charged on a fixed fee of £700 plus VAT.
The Buyers Assessment identifies
- Are there any discrepancies in the information?
- Is there additional information that you should be getting?
- What is the value of the practice and what should I offer?
- What is the likely profitability after purchase?
The buyer’s assessment does not require a visit to the target practice and your interest in the practice at this stage does not need to involve direct discussions with the vendor or their agent. However, we will diligently review the financial information and practice prospectus (where available). This includes sense-checking accounting information and any other relevant factors – for example staffing levels. We will help identify the value of the practice, any potential issues or questions to raise.
